SolarFast Sun Printing Workshop with Zoë Gleitsman

Come print with the sun! Join Zoë Gleitsman for a hands-on introduction to SolarFast printing, a colorful form of analog photo printing that uses UV light to create vibrant images on paper and fabric.
We'll experiment with sunlight, plants, transparencies, and found objects while learning how to coat materials, create exposures, and layer different colors and images. We'll print outside in the backyard, with an exposure unit available if needed.
Want to make a print from your own photo? Email a black-and-white photo to TinyArtsSupply@gmail.com by Friday, August 21 and we'll print it onto a transparency for you to use in class.
You're also welcome to bring your own objects, fabric, or paper to experiment with, though plenty of materials will be provided.
No experience necessary; all materials provided. Come make stuff with us, rain or shine!
