Masked Handbuilding (and Glazing) with La Rainne
Hosted by Tiny Arts Supply
Join us for a fun and creative ceramics workshop - Mug Making! - Make a mug for yourself or a holiday gift with local artist and ceramicist La Rainne (@shrimpyceramics).
KN95 Masks are required for this workshop, we will have masks available.
Saturday, November 22nd
6:00 PM – 9:30 PM (includes a short break, bring water/snacks)
at Tiny Arts Supply
58-42 Catalpa Avenue, Ridgewood, Queens
During this 3.5-hour session, you'll learn the basics of handbuilding with clay and create your own mug / vessel. You'll also have the opportunity to glaze your piece, which will then be fired for you. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup 2–4 weeks after the class. We will do our best to prioritize these pieces to be ready in early December. Dependent on the drying time of the pieces, we will provide guidance in the class to construct pieces that will dry faster.
Sliding scale tickets – all materials and firing included
No experience necessary
Limited seating – ticket required
