Join us for an afternoon of clay creature creation with Anaïs Connelly! In this playful ceramics workshop, you'll sculpt and glaze your own intuitive monster, bringing a one-of-a-kind character to life through handbuilding, color, and imagination.
We'll start by shaping our creatures from clay, exploring strange forms, expressive features, and unexpected personalities. Once your monster takes shape, you'll glaze it, give it a name, and have the chance to share a bit about who it is and the world it comes from.
Anaïs will provide demonstrations and individualized support throughout the class, making this workshop welcoming for complete beginners and experienced folks.
Come get your hands dirty, make something magical, and leave with a creature that's entirely your own.
No experience necessary; all materials and kiln firing included.
Please note that ceramics can be unpredictable, and occasionally pieces may crack or break during firing. We will do our best to help your work survive the kiln process. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup approximately 2 to 4 weeks after class.
