Intro to Native Garden Design with Matt Garczynski

Join ecological designer Matt Garczynski for a hands-on workshop exploring how to create beautiful, ecologically rich native plant gardens.
Planning and Drawing - We'll spend the first half of the workshop planning and drawing, learning simple design strategies for creating intentional, low-maintenance gardens that support pollinators, birds, and beneficial insects.
Hands-On Planting - Then we'll head outside into the Tiny Arts Supply backyard to get our hands dirty and put some of these ideas into practice through planting.
What to prepare - Nothing. Although, you're welcome to bring photos, measurements, or sketches of your own garden space (backyard, tree bed, or fire escape) to work from.
If you have your own gardening tools (trowel, pitchforks, rakes, gloves), please bring them!
You don't need to have a garden space of your own to attend - come learn, experiment, and get dirty. Dress accordingly.

Transfers - you cannot transfer your ticket to another class, however, you can give your ticket to this class to another person - a friend, a crush, a stranger on the internet. We don't need to know about it, just have them check in under your name!
