Join us for an exploration of Bleaching & Toning Cyanotypes with Zoë Gleitsman! This hands-on workshop is designed for artists and photographers who already have some experience with the cyanotype process and want to expand their practice through color transformation techniques.
You'll learn how to completely alter the classic blue tones of cyanotype prints using accessible household materials such as washing soda, black tea, matcha, and other natural toners. Zoë will guide participants through the bleaching and toning process step-by-step, demonstrating how different materials create unique colors and effects.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own finished cyanotype prints to transform during class. If you don't have prints to bring, cyanotypes will be provided for you to experiment with during the workshop.
Whether you're looking to deepen your alternative photography practice or simply explore new creative possibilities, this workshop offers an exciting introduction to the colorful world of toned cyanotypes.
No experience necessary; All materials provided. Come create with us - rain or shine!
