Join Lynn for a beginner-friendly workshop exploring how to turn textile waste into something useful and beautiful!
Using reclaimed textiles like retired bedsheets and clothing that’s no longer suitable for donation, you'll learn the basics of crochet to create your own soft, durable rag rug. We'll cover the foundational stitches of chain and single crochet and explore how to transform fabric scraps into a sturdy, cushy piece that works as a rug, floor cushion, or a spot for pets or little ones.
You'll leave with your own giant crochet hook so you can continue working on your project at home.
Have old sheets, worn-out clothes, or other textile scraps you'd like to reuse? Bring them along! Materials will also be provided.
No experience necessary; all materials provided.
