Ever wanted to get your hands dirty and dabble in ceramics?

Pottery is an ancient form of utilitarian art. This medium can unfortunately be quiet expensive to try out. We’ve priced this workshop to be as accessible as possible for folks who just want to play with clay with their neighbors! As part of the Woodbine skillshare, each participant will get enough clay to make a cup or bowl, will have access to a plethora of tools used for ceramics, and will share knowledge on how to mold, shape, and build a personal project.

There will no wheel to use at this event, just our bodies and hand tools.

You are welcome to recycle the clay back into the bag at the end of the night, take your project home to tweak it, or invest $10 and once it dries to the touch, it will be fired by one of our generous neighbors who has access to a kiln.

- IF THE COMMUNITY WANTS IT -

Future follow up class in glazing these dried pieces. This glazing event will also have clay for folks to create new pieces or accommodate those who may not be able to attend this date. That class will also require a $35 ticket and will have the extra $10 firing option as well.

If this structure is confusing, rest assured, we can walk you through it.

In short- this skill-share event will run from 7pm until after 9pm and a ticket purchased for entry will allow you to make a unique piece of pottery you will have the additional option to “fire” (permanently harden) or recycle back into clay for others in the future.

once you purchase a ticket please email TinyArtsSupply@gmail.com to get the confirmation as there is no option to add your email to this transaction!!!
