Curious about ceramics? Join us for a hands-on pottery workshop focused on clay handbuilding—a traditional, wheel-free technique where you’ll shape and mold clay using only your hands, bodies, and simple tools.
Workshop Details
What is Handbuilding?
Handbuilding is a pottery technique that doesn’t require a wheel. With basic tools and plenty of creativity, you’ll learn to craft unique and functional pieces. No experience is necessary, however, those with experience are encouraged to share.

Enough clay for a unique piece (cup, bowl, or similar)

Your Work, Fully Fired
Your glazed ceramics will be fired and ready for pickup within 2–4 weeks. You'll receive an email notification when your piece is ready.

Optional Glazing Session
Want to add color to your creation? We’re offering eight glazing dates in 2025 for anyone who’d like to return and glaze their work. Purchase a glazing session ticket 2-4 weeks from the date of your handbuilding session. We will email you when your work is ready to glaze.
Sliding Scale Tickets & Refunds
Ticket Pricing
Tickets are priced on a sliding scale to ensure accessibility. Financially flexible attendees are encouraged to purchase higher-tier tickets to support others. A materials-only ticket option is also available upon request.
Refund Policy

Refunds are available up to 3 days before the session by emailing TinyArtsSupply@gmail.com.

Unused tickets can be applied to future events if coordinated via email in advance.

No refunds or rescheduling will be offered after the ticket date due to limited seating.

Our handbuilding and glazing sessions are designed to complement each other, creating a well-rounded experience. While attending both is encouraged, it’s not mandatory. If you choose to participate in both, please note that separate tickets are required for each session.
