Discover the heritage craft of Appalachian Shuttle Tatting in this beginner-friendly workshop with artist Rhiannon Platt! Tatting is a centuries-old lace-making technique created through looping and tying double knots that slide along a core thread using a small cat-eye-shaped shuttle.
In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to begin your tatting, work double knots and picots, and build the foundational skills needed to continue this beautiful craft at home.
Continue your practice - All materials are included... students will receive a tatting shuttle and supplies to take home so they can keep practicing.
