Join us for a Leather Craft workshop with Callejera Leather! In this beginner-friendly class, you'll create your own refillable leather journal cover from start to finish using genuine leather.
Choose your leather and dye color (5 colors to choose from), learn how to punch holes and assemble a durable leather cover that's uniquely yours. You'll learn the basics of leatherworking while creating a beautiful, functional piece you can use every day.
Your finished journal cover is designed to hold multiple notebooks at once, making it easy to keep your sketchbook, journal, and planner all together in one spot and swap out notebooks whenever you like.
About our Instructor : Dani Cuestas is the founder of Callejera Leather. Of Indigenous Colombian heritage, she creates cool handcrafted pieces using exclusively vegetable tanned leather, emphasizing sustainability and traditional practices that honor every part of an animal. Her work blends punk aesthetics with Indigenous values, promoting leather's longevity, customization, and anti-consumerist approach while encouraging individuality and self expression.
