Looking to add vibrant color to your ceramics? Join us for a hands-on glazing workshop where you’ll learn to finish ceramic pieces with a variety of non-toxic glazes. This accessible and welcoming session is perfect for all skill levels, whether you're glazing for the first time or refining your technique.
Workshop Details
What is Glazing?
Glazing is the art of adding color and finish to ceramics, making them food-safe and functional. In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of color mixing, brush techniques, and glaze applications.

Your Work, Fully Fired
Your glazed ceramics will be fired and ready for pickup within 2–4 weeks. You'll receive an email notification when your piece is ready.

Optional Pre-Made Ceramics
Don’t have your own piece to glaze? Individually hand-built ceramic items, including mugs and bowls, will be available for purchase on-site, created by local artist Lindsay.
Returning Artists
If you attended a previous Community Ceramics handbuilding workshop, bring your bisqued pieces to this event for glazing! Look for a confirmation email about your finished work or reach out to us at TinyArtsSupply@gmail.com with any questions.
Sliding Scale Tickets & Refunds
Ticket Pricing
Tickets are priced on a sliding scale to ensure accessibility. Financially flexible attendees are encouraged to purchase higher-tier tickets to support others. A materials-only ticket option is also available upon request.

Unused tickets can be applied to future events if coordinated via email in advance.

Our handbuilding and glazing sessions are designed to complement each other, creating a well-rounded experience. While attending both is encouraged, it’s not mandatory. If you choose to participate in both, please note that separate tickets are required for each session.
