Join us for a hands-on introduction to Turmeric Anthotype Printing with Zoë Gleitsman! In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll learn how to create photographic prints using UV light and turmeric, an accessible and environmentally friendly alternative photographic process.
Using this sustainable printing technique, you'll make beautiful yellow and orange images while exploring the fascinating intersection of photography, art, and natural materials. Zoë will guide participants through each step of the process, from preparing materials to exposing and developing your prints.
Participants also have the option to print one of their own photographs onto a transparency before class, allowing you to create a personalized anthotype using your own image (see ticket details for information).
