In this hands-on class, young artists will explore the fundamentals of handbuilding with air dry clay while creating fun, imaginative clay projects. Kids will make creatures and treasures all while learning essential techniques of the process of building that will bring these things to life. We will create our own colors learning thru the color wheel.
Grown-ups are welcome to drop off or stay.... whatever works best for your family.
About the Instructor
Soph is a multimedia artist working across the arts and culinary worlds. Raised between the woods of New Hampshire and the German countryside, nature has always shaped their creative perspective. With a potter father and early exposure to Japanese ceramics, clay has long been part of their artistic path. Combining a B.Sc. in Psychology with years of experience teaching kids, Soph creates a warm, curious, and supportive environment for young learners.
